2018 Land Rover Range Rover

Check operation of cooling fans. Pressure tested system and found water residue present around water pump and oil cooler assembly. Recommend replacement of water pump under warranty, and replacement of oil cooler
- Drained cooling system. Removed engine covers, splash shields, and intake piping. Removed drive belt for supercharger and engine accessories. Drained cooling system. Disconnected coolant hoses to water pump and under manifold water distribution pipes. Removed supercharger and intake assembly from engine. Removed intercooler assembly to access oil cooler. Cleaned coolant residue from engine and mounting surfaces. Installed new oil cooler assembly with new gasket and associated cooling connections. Reinstalled intercooler and intake components with new gaskets. After replacement of water pump was completed, reconnected cooling hoses and pipes. Reinstalled drive belts. Filled cooling system and bled air from system. Pressure tested system. No further leaks present and pressure holding properly. Test drove vehicle and rechecked coolant level, OK.
- Drained cooling system. Removed engine covers and splash shields. Loosened tensioner and removed drive belt. Disconnected and removed coolant lines, and radiator hose from pump and engine fittings. Removed belt tensioner. Removed water pump assembly from engine. After completion of pipe and valve replacement. Repaired damaged threads in engine. Installed new water pump, seals, and gasket. Reattached coolant hoses and pipes. Reinstalled belt tensioner and belt. Reinstalled intake piping. Filled cooling system and pressure tested. No leaks present.

2020 Toyota Prius
Mileage18,393Service Date3/12/2024Services Performed- Test started vehicle, and found it not entering ready mode properly. WIth jump was able to get vehicle into ready mode and test charging and starting system. Starter draw is normal, and charging system working properly. Scanned vehicle for error codes and found P058A01 (Auxiliary Battery) and P06881F (ECM Power Relay) codes stored. Load tested battery, OK. Checked for proper power to ECU relay and found voltage too low. Rechecked power to relay when grounded to battery, OK. Checked battery ground and found cable not seated properly, causing poor power signal to vehicle from 12v battery. Tightened ground cable and rechecked other power cables, all ok. Cleared error codes and retested vehicle. Vehicle powering on normally, and no error codes returned. Test drove vehicle. No warning lights present.
- During inspection, found warning present for low key battery. Replaced key fob battery and tested fob operations, all ok. NO further warning present.

2012 Ford Escape
Mileage87,239Service Date2/21/2024Services Performed- Tested HVAC system and confirmed customer concern. All functions working, except for fan speeds. Removed dash panels and glove box to access and inspect blower motor. Found no power to fan unless high is selected on switch. Removed blower motor resistor and checked continuity. Found no continuity in an of the resistance circuits, only the bypass (high speed). Recommend replacement of resistor to correct issue. Installed new resistor assembly and tested fan operation. All fan speeds now working properly. Reinstalled glove box, panels, and trim pieces to dash.
- Noted first start took longer than normal to start. Retested starting system during blower motor repairs. Found the longer the vehicle sits, the worse the crank issue is. Scanned vehicle for error codes. Found codes B1318 (Battery Voltage Low), B1676 (ABS Module, Power Supply), U3003-16 (ABS Module, Battery Voltage Too Low), and U3003-17 (ABS Module, Battery Voltage Too High). Tested starting and charging system. Found system voltage low. With jump pack attached, vehicle started normally. Starter draw is ok, and alternator is charging properly. Battery failed load test due to bad cell. Monitored voltage during cranking without jump pack. Voltage dropping too low for control modules to turn on during initial cranking. After voltage returned to around 10volts vehicle started. Recommend replacement of battery. Removed battery cables and hold down. Removed failed battery and installed new unit. Cleaned cable ends and connected. Retested starting and charging system. All tests passed. No further long crank condition present. Reinstalled covers and trim pieces.

2018 Land Rover Range Rover
Mileage41,520Service Date2/8/2024Services Performed- Light was on when vehicle was picked up, but was not on during initial service inspection. Test drove vehicle and tested suspension functions, vehicle raising and lowering as commanded. Connected scan tool and checked vehicle for error codes. Found multiple modules with 1 or 2 codes stored. Most codes are for lost communication issues, but some have internal faults. Sent error log to remote access provider for any indicators of source of fault. Cleared error codes and rescanned vehicle. After service, test drove vehicle again and no codes returned. Remote access support recommended checking for moisture intrusion into wiring connectors to suspension control components. Removed right rear wheel and fender liner to inspect module and wiring. Found no current moisture present inside of connectors. Checked wires for proper continuity or shorts. All ok. Cleaned connectors and sealed with dielectric grease where applicable. Reinstalled connectors, fender liner, and wheel. Removed interior rear seat and trim panels to access suspension control module. Checked wiring for moisture or continuity issues, all ok. Reinstalled interior trim and seat components. Test drove again and rechecked suspension operation, OK. No further warning lights present on dash.

- Inspected rear center console for proper operation. Cup holder extension working properly and console clears child seat ok. Checked 3rd row seat and found center section not fully latched. Closed latch on 3rd row and rechecked center console of 2nd row. Console now working properly.
- Replace wiper blades on vehicle.
- During service, refilled washer fluid reservoir and found a leak originating from front right of vehicle. Removed front wheel and fender liner to access washer fluid system. Found hose from pump torn and fluid leaking from it. Trimmed damaged section and installed good end onto pump fitting. Refilled system. No further leaks present. Reinstalled fender liner and wheel. Tested washer operations, all ok.
- Replace cabin filter element. Reassemble filter housing and access panel.
- During service, found cooling system not holding pressure. Removed engine covers and splash shields to inspect vehicle for source of leak. Found coolant leak coming from thermostat tube attachment to water pump. Removed intake piping and drive belt to access leak. Drained cooling system and removed thermostat housing and tube from vehicle. Installed new tube and seals with original thermostat assembly. Reconnected hoses. Filled cooling system and reinstalled intake piping. Pressure tested cooling system again. Pressure holding properly and no further leaks present. Reinstalled engine covers and splash shields.
