    • Inspected washer system. Found washer pump covered in glue and fluid reservoir half full. Checked for power and ground at pump, OK. Removed air intake and inspected reservoir. Reservoir has no leaks visible. Fluid in reservoir smells like a bug cleaner additive was used. Recommend replacement pump prior to further diagnosis. Removed air filter housing and intake piping. Removed wiring and hoses from pump assembly. Removed pump from reservoir and drained fluid. Flushed reservoir with water to remove any residue from previous cleaner. Installed new pump and grommet. Filled reservoir with water to check for leaks. None present. Connected wiring to pump and tested pump operation. Pump outputting water normally. Reconnected hoses and tested washers. Front washers working properly. Rear washer working too. Topped off washer reservoir with washer fluid concentrate. Reinstalled intake piping and air filter housing.
