- Checked battery voltage. Found it at 11.5 volts. During attempted engine cranking, battery voltage drops to 5.32 volts. This is after battery was charged and driven. Battery has no reserve capacity present. Recommend replacement of battery. Removed battery terminals and hold down. Replaced battery with new interstate unit. Reattached battery terminals and tightened. Test started vehicle. Engine starting normally. No excess power draw present.
