2010 Jeep Liberty
Mileage162,798Service Date9/25/2026Services Performed- Drained engine fluids. Removed intake piping, covers, and splash shields. Removed coolant reservoir, radiator, and hoses. Disconnected engine wiring and fuel system components. Disconnected exhaust. Supported transmission with stand and removed bell housing bolts. Removed engine assembly from vehicle. Prepped reman motor for installation by transferring oil pan, valve covers, and timing cover. Installed new oil cooler and filter housing. Transferred intake and exhaust manifold with new gaskets and hardware where needed. Installed new thermostat assembly. Installed new spark plugs before transferring ignition components. Installed motor into vehicle and reconnected motor mounts and transmission hardware. Reconnected exhaust, cooling components, and fuel lines. Installed new radiator and lower hose during assembly. Connected wiring. Filled engine with fresh oil and coolant. Reconnected intake components. Test started vehicle. Engine running, but has error codes present and is rough. Found air leak from lower intake. Removed intake manifold and found plastic cracked, causing leak. Removed manifold and replaced with new unit. Rechecked vehicle. Engine running normally. Test drove vehicle. Rechecked for leaks, OK. No warning lights present, and cooling system working properly. Test drove vehicle and noted fuel smell present. Checked system and found a fuel injector seal leaking. Removed intake manifold and replaced seals with new units. Reinstalled upper intake. Test drove vehicle again. No further fuel leaks present. No error codes stored nor pending, and all but 2 emissions monitors are set.
- With engine removed, clean mounting points on chassis. Clean engine components and mounting surfaces on parts being transferred from original motor like intake and exhaust manifolds, valve covers, timing cover, and other miscellaneous components.
- Checked vehicle for customer concern with blower fan staying on high speed at all times. Checked blower motor and control units. Found blower motor resistor shorted and causing fan to stay on. Disconnected resistor and found fan stopped. Installed new blower motor resistor and fan now responding to controls normally.

2015 Chevrolet Tahoe

Check wheel bearings for play. Check parking brake operation. Check for fluid leaks. Check interior and exterior lights. Check wiper and washer jet operation. Check tire wear and condition. Set tire pressures to specification. Vacuum cowl. Check intake and cabin air filters. Test drive vehicle.
- Found tear in washer line. Cut line and added an adapter to line and extra hose connecting adapter and washer pump. Rechecked function all okay at this time
- Unable to duplicate customers concern. Let vehicle sit over night and heard a light noise at start up. Suspect vehicle has a lifter that is bleeding down overnight and then pops when oil pressure builds. If noise starts to persist after vehicle starts, lifter replacement may be needed.
- Replace cabin filter element. Reassemble filter housing and access panels.
- Remove wheels from vehicle. Inspect brakes. Remove tires. Install new tires and valve stems(if required). Computer spin balance. Reinstall wheels to vehicle and torque lug nuts to manufacturer's specifications.
- State tire tax per tire.
- Tire disposal fee per tire.
- Remove fill and drain plugs from differential. Drained fluid from differential. Inspect fluid for any contamination or debris. Reinstall drain plug and fill differential with fresh fluid. Reinstall fill plug. Test drive vehicle and rechecked fluid level.
- Check brake fluid for moisture and contamination. Inspect all hydraulic line and hoses. Inspect calipers and wheel cylinders. Inspect master cylinder and cap. Drain and refill entire brake system including master cylinder, calipers, wheel cylinders. Bleed system until clean fluid is seen.
- Performed 4 wheel alignment. Test drive vehicle after repairs to confirm handling characteristics.

- Road test and verify engine performance, transmission operation, and shift patterns. Drain transmission fluid which includes: flushing of transmission cooler, cooler lines, and transmission body. Flush all contaminated fluid out and replace with new fluid as per vehicle specs.
- Tested power and ground to master switch and right rear door switch all okay test power and ground to harness connecting to window regulator all okay when testing regulator have no signal going out recommend replacing right rear window regulator.
- Removed right rear door panel to replace window regulator rechecked function all okay at this time
- Inner bracket on driver side sunvisor broke recommend replacing sun visor assembly
- Removed and replaced driver side sun visor all okay not hanging down anymore

2021 Subaru Forester
Mileage55,143Service Date9/8/2026Services Performed- Test drove vehicle to replicate customer concern. Found starter not engaging as strongly as they normally do during start/stop operation. Once vehicle did crank, but failed to start and then stopped cranking. Vehicle needed to be put into park before it would start again. Tested starter draw and battery condition. Found battery slightly weak, but starter draw is normal. Checked live data during test drive and found battery voltage dropping lower than it should when cranking at stops. Checked battery connections and specs, found installed battery is a normal lead acid unit, and vehicle calls for AGM (absorbed glass matt) with start/stop option due to more stable voltage output. Recommend replacement of battery with correct unit before further diagnosis.
- Install new battery. Clean cable ends. Perform battery adaptation to vehicle as needed. Reset error codes and test drove vehicle again. Noted restarting is now cranking normally, and there is no further no start conditions during start/stop operation.
