Recommend steam cleaning engine to remove residue, replace damaged hose, and pressure test system to check for any additional leaks. Drained cooling system. Removed engine covers and splash shields. Disconnected upper hose from engine, radiator, and overflow tank and removed hose from vehicle. Cleaned coolant residue from fittings and installed new hose assembly. Filled cooling system and pressure tested. Pressure holding and no leaks visible. Reinstalled intake piping, engine covers, and splash shields. Bled cooling system and test drove vehicle after cleaning and repairs. Cooling system working properly and no coolant leaks present.
  • Steam clean vehicle to remove coolant residue and debris build up.
  • Replace engine air filter.
  • Replace cabin filter element. Reassemble filter housing and access panels.
  • Air and cabin filters dirty. Service light is illuminated. Peanuts present on driver side of windshield cowl. Wipers are very streaky. Headlights faded and oxidized. Oil cap seeping oil or spilled oil residue present. Front left upper sway bar end link boot torn. Rear differential fluid plug is stripped where allen wrench should attach. Front tires have 6/32"(L) & 4/32"(R) tread remaining. Rear tires have 5/32"(L) & 4/32"(R) tread remaining. Front brake pads have 10mm of friction material remaining. Rear brake pads have 4mm of friction material remaining.

  • Inspected vehicle for customer concerns. Found error code P0128 (Coolant Temp Below Thermostat Range) stored in ECU. Pressure tested cooling system, no leaks found. Test drove vehicle and monitored live data. Coolant temp sensor reading normally, but found coolant temp is not rising as it should. Recommend replacement of thermostat before further diagnosis.
  • Removed engine covers and splash shields. Drained cooling system. Removed intake piping and air filter housing. Removed intake plenum and upper engine wiring. Disconnected coolant pipe from engine and removed thermostat and pipe assembly. cleaned mounting surfaces and installed new thermostat assembly with new gasket and seal. Filled cooling system and pressure tested. Found coolant hose above transmission has slight seepage. Replaced spring clamp with screw type clamp and retested. No further leaks present. Reinstalled intake manifold with new gaskets. Reinstalled intake piping and filter housing. Connected engine wiring. Started vehicle and bled cooling system. Reinstalled covers and splash shields. Cleared error codes and test drove vehicle. Check engine light did not return, and no error codes present on dash. Cooling fan is working normally, not staying on. Rescanned vehicle. Codes are still stored in history, but will self clear after multiple drive cycles.

  • During service inspection, confirmed noise is present and gets louder at speed. Raised vehicle on lift to inspect drivetrain components for source of noise. Found noise originating from driver side hub assembly and wheel bearing. Recommend replacement of wheel bearing to correct issue. Removed driver wheel and brake components. Loosened axle retaining nut and broke axle loose from hub. Disconnected strut, tie rod end, sway bar link, and lower ball joint connections to steering knuckle. Removed knuckle and hub assembly from vehicle. Cleaned connecting hardware and surfaces. Installed new hub and knuckle assembly. Connected suspension and steering components and torqued mounting hardware to spec. Installed new axle nut and torqued to spec to seat axle. Reinstalled brake components and wheel. Test ran vehicle on lift. Noise no longer present. Test drove vehicle and checked operation of hub. No further noise present while driving.
  • Drain transmission fluid from pan and cooler lines. Added fluid and ran vehicle to cycle fresh fluid into transmission and remove dirty fluid. Repeated drain and fill. After completion of services, test drove vehicle and checked transmission operation. OK. Topped off fluid level.

Checked live data and found no issues with signals. Cleared error codes and test drove vehicle after repairs. Check engine light did not return. If light returns, further diagnosis may be required.
  • Replace engine air filter with customer supplied part.
  • Replace cabin filter element. Reassemble filter housing and access panels.
  • Check brake fluid for moisture and contamination. Inspect all hydraulic line and hoses. Inspect calipers and wheel cylinders. Inspect master cylinder and cap. Drain and refill entire brake system including master cylinder, calipers, wheel cylinders. Bleed system until clean fluid is seen.
