Noted headlight assembly and bumper do not have any factory markings. Vehicle may have had front end repairs, and headlight may not be a factory unit. If symptom returns, recommend replacement of headlight assembly.

2020 Land Rover Defender
Mileage80,857Service Date5/18/2026Services Performed- Scanned vehicle for error codes. Found code P0507, P2187, P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304, P0305, P0306, and P0316 current. All codes are also shown as pending and/or permanent as well. Cleared error codes and test drove vehicle. Misfire codes, and idle control code returned during test drive. Removed engine covers and intake piping to inspect system for any intake leaks or damage. No physical issues noted. Connected smoke machine to intake piping and crankcase to check for system issues. No external smoke found, but noted a hissing noise from crankcase vent valve when system was pressurized. Removed vent hoses to inspect and found oil separator is leaking internally and not holding vacuum, allowing unmetered air to enter system. Recommend replacement of oil separator to correct issue.
- Remove charge piping. Drain cooling system for intercooler. Remove intercooler assembly from engine to access oil separator. Remove hoses from oil separator and remove assembly from engine. Install new oil separator with supplied gaskets. Reinstall hoses, intercooler, and associated components. Fill and bleed cooling system. Clear error codes and test drive vehicle to confirm high idle, misfires, and check engine light are no longer present. Ok.

- Remove fill and drain plugs from transfer case. After draining fluid, reinstall drain plug. Fill transfer case with fresh fluid. Reinstall fill plug.
- Drained and refilled front differential using drain and fill plugs. Removed rear differential cover to drain fluid. Cleaned mounting surfaces and cover. Installed cover with new gasket using original hardware. Filled differential and reinstalled fill plug. Test drove vehicle after repairs and checked fluid levels and for any leaks, all ok.
- Remove wheels from vehicle. Inspect brakes. Remove tires. Install new tires and valve stems(if required). Computer spin balance. Reinstall wheels to vehicle and torque lug nuts to manufacturer's specifications.
- State tire tax per tire.
- Tire disposal fee per tire.
