  • Inspected vehicle for shake while driving. Noted different shakes present under different driving conditions. Inspected vehicle on lift during service for source(s). Recommend the following items are addressed. Engine vibration present from failing motor and transmission mounts. Recommend replacement of all mounts. Rear tires are cupping, which is contributing
  • Customer states brake light is out. Check and advise.
  • Replace engine air filter.
  • Replace cabin filter element. Reassemble filter housing and access panels.
  • Radiator Cap Replacement
  • Check brake fluid for moisture and contamination. Inspect all hydraulic line and hoses. Inspect calipers and wheel cylinders. Inspect master cylinder and cap. Drain and refill entire brake system including master cylinder, calipers, wheel cylinders. Bleed system until clean fluid is seen.

  • Replace cabin filter element. Reassemble filter housing and access panels.
  • Remove wheels from vehicle. Inspect brakes. Remove tires. Install new tires and valve stems(if required). Computer spin balance. Reinstall wheels to vehicle and torque lug nuts to manufacturer's specifications.
  • State tire tax per tire.
  • Tire disposal fee per tire.
  • Removed end links from suspension mounting points. Disconnected links from sway bar. Installed new links. Tightened mounting hardware after cycling suspension. Test drove vehicle. No noise or play present from links.
  • Removed rear trunk liners and trim pieces. Removed rear wheels. Disconnected shock from body mounting point. Disconnected control arms from suspension upright to allow shock removal. Installed new shock assembly. Reconnected suspension arms and loosely installed body mounting hardware. Repeated process on other side. Reinstalled wheels. Settled suspension components with vehicle on ground. Tightened upper shock mounting hardware. Reinstalled trunk liners and trim pieces. Test drove vehicle and reinspected shocks. No leaks nor noise present.
  • Performed 4 wheel alignment. Test drive vehicle after repairs to confirm handling characteristics.
  • Replace wiper blades on vehicle.

  • Connected scan tool and performed full vehicle scan. Found code C1AC1: Master Module Axis Misalignment. Checked live data from blind spot monitor and found live data shows alignment at +6.1 degrees. Allowable range is -3.6 to +3.6 degrees. Removed rear bumper assembly to inspect sensor and mounting brackets. Found driver side sensor mounting bracket and mounting tab on body are bent slightly. Loosened mounting hardware and moved sensor to see if alignment can be reset, but error code is hard stored in module. Recommend repairing mounting tab on body and replacing mounting bracket and sensor. After completion of repair, system will need to be programmed and calibrated. Customer declined further repairs at this time. Reinstalled rear bumper cover. Reset error codes.

  • Connected scan tool and performed full body scan to check AC system for any error codes. Found code B1451 stored for compressor solenoid circuit. Removed engine covers and checked clutch at compressor. Clutch is operating properly. Traced wires and checked for proper current draw from compressor when activated. Current is within spec. Symptoms are indicative of AC amplifier in need of repair or replacement. Checked history on vehicle with Lexus due to mileage. Found vehicle is still within factory warranty coverage. Recommend having dealership inspect/correct issue.

  • Inspected all exterior lights for proper function. Found passenger low beam and 2 marker lights inoperative. Removed cover from headlight and removed bulb. Found HID bulb burnt out. Replaced with new bulb and checked headlight function. Both headlights now working properly. Removed under covers and or bumper retainers to access front driver and rear passenger marker lights. Bulbs have burnt out. Replaced with new bulbs and tested functions. All exterior lights now working properly.
  • Replace wiper blades on vehicle.
  • Replace cabin filter element. Reassemble filter housing and access panel.
  • Inspected vehicle for noise. Found noise present at start up with HVAC on, but not with HVAC off. After a minute noise stops, but will return at times when HVAC is in auto mode. Moved controls to manual setting and noise does not return after initial startup. Cycled controls for recirculation, temp, fan speed, and mode. Found noise returned when mode selector was moved to front vents from floor. Removed glovebox assembly to access HVAC components and checked components. Found noise originating from mode door actuator. Recommend new actuator assembly. Removed mode door actuator from housing and cycled mode selector. Selector is making noise internally. Connected new selector to wiring and tested function. New part does not make noise. Installed new actuator into HVAC housing and connected control rod to mode door. Started vehicle and tested function. Mode select working properly and no further clicking/buzzing from dash. Reinstalled glovebox and trim.
  • Removed engine covers and splash shield. Drained cooling system. Removed intake piping, serpentine drive belt, and radiator/fan assembly. Removed engine drive accessories and timing cover. Rotated engine to TDC. Marked pulleys and old timing belt. Removed timing belt tensioner and timing belt. Removed water pump. Cleaned mounting surface and installed new water pump assembly. Replaced coolant o-rings and reinstalled pipes/fittings. Marked new timing belt by matching to removed unit. Installed new belt and matched marks to pulleys. Installed new tensioner and tensioned belt. Rotated engine by hand to confirm proper timing, OK. Replaced thermostat and gasket during reassembly. Reinstalled radiator and fan assembly. Connected radiator hoses and fan wiring. Filled and vacuum bled cooling system with new coolant. Pressure tested system. No leaks present. Reinstalled engine accessories and installed new drive belt. Reinstalled intake piping, engine cover, and splash shield. Test started motor and let vehicle warm up. Topped off coolant and test drove vehicle. Coolant level staying steady and engine running properly.

  • Inspected vehicle for no start condition. Found no electrical response from vehicle. Connected jump box and vehicle was still non-responsive. Checked battery voltage, found only 3.3 volts in battery. Charged battery overnight and battery only came up to 7 volts. Recommend new battery and testing for electrical draw. Installed new battery and reset vehicle systems. Vehicle starting normally. Checked charging and starting system for proper electrical load. All ok. Connected ammeter and checked vehicle for power draw. No excess power draw present at this time.

  • Replace cabin filter element. Reassemble filter housing and access panels.
  • Replace engine air filter.
  • Replace rear brake pads. Clean mounting surfaces. Replace wear sensor as required. Replace brake rotors. Lubricate caliper slides. Adjust parking brake mechanism. Road test vehicle.

  • Removed cabin filter for replacement and found blower fan full of debris from rodent nest. Removed blower fan and housing from under dash. Cleaned debris from fan assembly and cleaned fan in parts washer. Reassembled blower fan to motor and reinstalled into HVAC unit in dash. Installed new cabin filter into housing before reassembly of glove box. Tested fan operation, air output now at normal level.
  • Steam cleaned vehicle and test drove to check for smell. After first round, smell is lessened, but still present. Steam cleaned engine and exhaust a second time. Let degreaser sit on exhaust and front of engine on grime under exhaust manifold to let it soak in. Cleaned degreaser off and test drove vehicle to bring it up to temp and check for any further oil smell. No further smell present during drive, and no smell present under hood. During test drive noted HVAC fan was not putting out much air. Inspected cabin filter and found rodent nest.
