- Removed engine covers, air intake piping, and splash shields to inspect for source of coolant leak. Found coolant residue underneath intake/supercharger. Recommend removal of supercharger to find source of coolant leak. Removed drive belt, throttle body wiring, and vacuum lines from upper manifold. Disconnected intercooler hoses from manifold. Disconnected wiring from rear of supercharger. Removed upper hose and thermostat assembly. Removed supercharger assembly from engine and disconnected breather hose from oil separator. Removed supercharger assembly from engine and inspected for source of leak. Found coolant pipe underneath supercharger is leaking. Pipe requires removal of lower intake and high pressure fuel lines. Recommend replacement of oil separator and breather hoses under supercharger as preventative steps since access is available now. Drained cooling system. Bled pressure from fuel system. Disconnected tumble flap actuators and fuel feed lines. Removed lower intake manifolds. Disconnected coolant and breather lines from under manifolds. Removed air injection pipes from rear of engine. Removed oil separator from engine. Cleaned oil and coolant from engine valley. Installed new oil separator. Installed new coolant pipe, air injection hoses, and breather pipes. Reinstalled lower intakes with new gaskets and fuel injector o-rings. Confirmed tumble valves are in correct position. Reconnected wiring, fuel feed lines, and vacuum lines. Installed new thermostat and housing. Installed new vent valve connector to supercharger assembly and reinstalled supercharger. Reconnected coolant and intercooler hoses. Replaced cracked air injection hose from pump to pipe. Reconnected wiring and hoses to supercharger assembly and throttle body. Filled and bled cooling system. Pressure tested cooling system. No leaks present. Test drove vehicle multiple times and rechecked for coolant residue, level change, or coolant smell. No further leaks present at this time. Reinstalled engine covers and splash shields.
