- Performed a full system scan and downloaded several dtc fault codes, Erased codes to verify any fault codes that returned, no codes returned,Inspected fuel level found ok,During inspection found vehicle had no rpm signal while cranking,Followed procedures and inspected crank position sensor and found good signal to sensor, Tested crank position sensor and found no voltage present,Removed crank position sensor and found sensor damaged due to signs of crankshaft pulley rubbing against sensor, Recommend to replace Crankshaft position sensor, Crankshaft Pulley, and mounting bolt,
- Removed all necessary components to gain access to crank position sensor , crankshaft pulley and mounting bolt,Replaced with new crank position sensor, crankshaft pulley and mounting bolt ,verified operation and found working normal
