- Service air conditioner. Check condition of all belts and lines. Evacuate and recharge with reclaimed R-134. Test system performance. Test drove vehicle, was able to duplicate customer's concern. Inspected vehicle belt, AC lines, and components for any damage or wear. All appear ok. Inspected system with black light to check for any leaks, none found. Evacuated refrigerant and only recovered .374kg. Should be .5kg in system. Added dye and recharged system to spec. Reinspected with black light, no current leaks found. Test drove vehicle, and found AC blowing cold even at idle now. Suggest customer drive vehicle and reinspect for leaks if AC performance starts to decline.
