- Checked vehicle for customer concern. Found vehicle running and driving after sitting for a bit. No check engine light present. No error codes stored at this time. Visually inspected vehicle and found intake boot torn and letting in unfiltered air. Also found excess carbon and debris buildup on throttle body. Recommend replacement of intake boot, and performing throttle body cleaning to prevent throttle body from getting stuck.
- Perform throttle body and intake cleaning with BG fuel system. Add injector cleaner to fuel tank. After completion of cleaning, installed new intake boot. Cleaned dirt and debris from MAF sensor before reinstalling. Test drove vehicle and confirmed proper operation of engine and throttle body, OK.
