- Connected scan tool and performed full vehicle scan. Found code C1AC1: Master Module Axis Misalignment. Checked live data from blind spot monitor and found live data shows alignment at +6.1 degrees. Allowable range is -3.6 to +3.6 degrees. Removed rear bumper assembly to inspect sensor and mounting brackets. Found driver side sensor mounting bracket and mounting tab on body are bent slightly. Loosened mounting hardware and moved sensor to see if alignment can be reset, but error code is hard stored in module. Recommend repairing mounting tab on body and replacing mounting bracket and sensor. After completion of repair, system will need to be programmed and calibrated. Customer declined further repairs at this time. Reinstalled rear bumper cover. Reset error codes.
