    • Test drove vehicle to confirm customer complaint. All the noises heard while driving around block. Also noted ABS light is on. Lifted vehicle and inspected front suspension and brake components for source of noise. All components have surface rust and corrosion present. While inspecting individual components, found passenger side wheel hub noisy when turning wheel by hand. Suspect a failed bearing inside of wheel hub assembly. Recommend new wheel hub prior to further diagnostics. Removed brake caliper and rotor from suspension upright. Removed axle retaining nut and loosened front drive axle from hub. Removed hub retaining bolts and loosened hub assembly from upright. Removed hub and cleaned mounting surfaces of corrosion. Tested old hub by hand and was able to recreate grinding noises. New hub spins smoothly and quietly. Installed new hub and reattached suspension upright and axle nut. Reinstalled brake assembly and wheel. Test drove vehicle. ABS warning light still on, but no further grinding, whirring, or squealing noises heard.
