- Inspected vehicle for no crank condition. Found battery dead after sitting overnight. Charged battery for a few hours and checked for electrical draw, no draw during charging procedure. After letting vehicle sit on charger brake lights were found on. Inspected brake light switch on pedal and when switch was wiggled, brake lights came on and off. Recommend replacement of brake light switch.
- Removed lower dash cover. Replaced brake light switch with new unit. After installation tested if brake lights came on by wiggling new switch in the same fashion that cause lights to come on with the old switch, brake lights stayed off. Reinstalled lower dash cover. Test drove vehicle, brake lights operating properly. Let vehicle sit overnight and monitored for draw, no draw found, and vehicle started properly in the morning.
