    • Replace cabin filter element. Reassemble filter housing and access panel.
    • Removed cover and replaced key fob battery. Key now locking and unlocking car. Noted key had moisture present inside of housing. Recommend drying key in warm dry place to prevent corrosion of internal components.

    • Scanned vehicle for SRS error codes, none found. Air bag light was not on during test drive or service. Spoke to customer and confirmed light is on when customer has bag in passenger seat. Suspect bag is causing passenger seat sensor to activate and cause air bag light to come on. Recommend keeping bag on floor or connecting passenger seatbelt to turn light off.
    • Replace engine air filter.
    • Install new battery. Clean cable ends. Perform battery adaptation to vehicle as needed.
    • During inspection, found front left tire has inside edge wear to the point wires are coming out of tire. Rear tires have 4/32" tread depth and will need to be replaced soon. Front right tire has edge wear also, but 7/32" tread depth. Recommend replacement of all tires and an alignment to prevent further tire wear issues and correct safety issues with current tires. Customer declined replacement of 3 remaining tires at this time. Remove wheel from vehicle. Inspect brakes. Remove tire. Install new tire and valve stem(if required). Computer spin balance. Reinstall wheel to vehicle and torque lug nuts to manufacturer's specifications.

    • Connected scan tool. Found multiple error codes for low voltage and lost communication from 15 out of 22 modules. Tested battery. Found battery low and in need of a recharge. Charged battery overnight and rechecked in the morning, battery passed load test and charging system working normally at this time. Cleared error codes and test drove vehicle.

    • Inspected vehicle for door lock operation to confirm customer concern. Found door lock unresponsive to any input. Recommend replacement of door lock assembly. Removed interior door trim and panel. Disconnected wiring to trunk release, door lock/latch, exterior handle, and window motor. Removed window from guide and supported to access latch. Removed latch assembly and replaced with new OEM unit. After 3rd, unit was not broken or defective tested lock operation. Lock now working properly. Reconnected window to guides, and reinstalled door plate. Reconnected wiring to all electrical accessories. Reinstalled door panel and switches. Tested all functions of door, ok.
    • Removed tail lamp assembly to check light operation. Found contact points on board worn and causing lights to fail intermittently. Installed new tail light assembly and bulbs. Checked light operation. All lights now working properly.
    • Coolant level is full. Unable to clear light. Recommend replacement of coolant reservoir with level sensor at next service.
    • Test drove vehicle after inflating tires to proper pressure. Found vehicle is not pulling and no excess play present over rough roads. Tires are worn and there is a nail in right rear. Recommend replacement of tires before performing an alignment.

    • Disconnected wiring harness to clock spring/stalk assembly from dash. Removed steering wheel and retaining hardware. Removed assembly from steering column. Transferred steering column covers to new stalk and clock spring assembly. Installed new assembly onto steering column and connected wiring. Reinstalled steering wheel and horn plate. Torqued steering wheel nut to spec. Connected wiring to steering wheel controls and air bag. Reinstalled air bag. Started vehicle and checked steering wheel controls for proper operation. All buttons functioning properly. Turned wheel side to side and no noise present in column. Test drove vehicle and checked operation of steering wheel and control stalks. All working properly at this time.
    • Inspected vehicle for customer concerns. Verified multiple warning lights on dash, and a clicking noise when turning the steering wheel. Checked operation of steering wheel controls, none are currently responsive. Connected scan tool and performed full body scan. Found codes stored in 7 modules. All codes are for lost communication or open circuits. SRS module has codes for open circuits to driver air bag squibs 1 and 2. Removed air bag assembly and checked air bag circuits for continuity. Found no communication through air bag connectors. Checked continuity at harness connector at dash, ok. Removed horn plate and found steering wheel clock spring is source of noise and cause of lost communications. Recommend new clock spring assembly.

    • Found supercharger belt showing wear on back side. Checked tensioner pulley, found pulley is noisy and not spinning easily. Removed drive belt and tensioner assembly. Installed new tensioner and pulley. Installed new belt and removed lock pin on tensioner. Test drove vehicle and rechecked belt. System working properly.

    • Removed air filters from vehicle. Cleaned filters with cleaning solution and rinsed. Let filters dry overnight before reinstalling filters and intake assembly.
    • Replace wiper blades on vehicle.
    • Tested both batteries. Primary battery in trunk is from 5/13 and only reads 11.9 volts. Load test passed, but recommend replacement of battery due to age. Auxiliary battery under hood is good.
